State Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME)

State Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) was added to the system to support the Family Assistance Centers (FAC) when there are deceased patients. Access to the Patient Tracking module is the same as other organizations. The difference is when an FAC call center user is searching for a patient and the results return a deceased patient. If there is at least one deceased patient, then the FAC call center user must follow protocol and contact the OCME. The OCME will then follow up with the family member.
